DJI Ronin 4D – shooting the future
The DJI Ronin 4D is a versatile device that will allow solo filmmakers, larger film crews, and even businesses to capture professional footage. The Zenmuse X9 full-frame camera allows you to create excellent quality videos that will be incredibly smooth thanks to 4-axis stabilization. The LiDAR system makes precise focusing much easier, and the DJI O3 Pro provides reliable image transmission up to about 6 km. The latest CineCore 3.0 image processing system ensures unparalleled performance, and the TB50’s smart battery allows you to record for up to 2.5 hours on a single charge. What’s more, the integrated modular design streamlines workflow and allows for convenient mounting of additional accessories.
Integrated design – comfort of use
Despite its enormous capabilities, DJI Ronin 4D is extremely comfortable to use. It is distinguished by its integrated design, which means that it combines imaging, stabilization, focusing, wireless transmission and control systems. No more wasting time on complicated assembly and configuration of multiple devices! The product is made of carbon fiber and aluminum with magnesium, so it is surprisingly lightweight and portable. Modular accessories allow you to expand it quickly. There is also a Sport mode, in which the gimbal reacts to the user’s movements in an incredibly short time.
Choose the right camera for you
There are 2 variants of the DJI Ronin 4D kit available for purchase – with the Zenmuse X9-8K or Zenmuse X9-6K camera. The former allows you to record videos up to 8K/75 FPS. The latter records video up to 6K/60FPS or 4K/120FPS. In its case, the native ISO is 800/5000, and both are distinguished by a large dynamic range of 14+ units. All this will allow you to get excellent results even in extremely challenging lighting conditions.
CineCore 3.0 System
What makes the DJI Ronin 4D so perfect for many professional applications? The device uses the latest CineCore 3.0 image processing system with DJI chip, so you can record excellent quality footage in almost any situation. Advanced processor architecture, powerful processing power and the ability to record Apple ProRes RAW, ProRes 422 HQ and H.264 – all this makes it easy to create sensational cinema-level video with the DJI Ronin 4D.
Stunning colors
Now every shot can impress with vivid, natural colors. The DJI Cinema Color System makes the Zenmuse X9 camera a perfect color reproduction of recorded objects. The product is also compatible with the ACES standard. However, that’s not all! The camera has built-in high-end 9-pass ND filters (ND 2 to ND 512 or ND 0.3 to ND 2.7) that will allow you to get even better results. An internal motorized system allows you to switch them quickly.
4-axis stabilization
With DJI Ronin 4D you will record even the most dynamic footage without any problems. The product offers reliable 4-axis stabilization, complementing the standard 3 axes with an additional Z axis. In addition, advanced sensors, a built-in barometer, IMU and a new algorithm make it possible to obtain footage as smooth as never before. So you can easily capture dynamic footage that would normally be extremely difficult to create.
Effortless focusing
Now it’s even faster and easier to adjust the focus while you’re recording. This is thanks to Ronin 4D’s LiDAR system with distance meter. Now you can use autofocus even with manual lenses! You don’t have to worry about image blur or loss of quality. There is also an Automated Manual Focus mode that combines precise manual focus with the convenience provided by autofocus. The DJI Ronin 4D also offers an advanced ActiveTrack Pro tracking mode and allows you to continuously focus on a designated object. You can also remotely control the lens and autofocus with dedicated X9 modules (not included).
Even more conveniences
The DJI Ronin 4D is designed to allow you to work comfortably and efficiently in almost any situation. The TB50 smart batteries allow you to film for up to 2.5 hours, with a charge time of about 1.5 hours. The built-in microphones record audio perfectly, and additional 3.5mm jack and XLR ports allow you to connect other audio recorders. The high-brightness main monitor features a 5.5-inch, easy-to-read screen and gives you access to plenty of useful features. A DJI PROSSD 1 TB lets you save videos to the Ronin 4D’s internal memory, while a CFexpress Type B slot and USB 3.1 Type C expansion port mean you can save footage to external media.
Reliable wireless transmission
DJI O3 Pro’s brand-new video transmission system allows you to transmit 1080p/60FPS video up to a distance of about 6km with exceptional stability and security. Available separately, the high-brightness remote monitors with 7-inch touchscreens support 2 modes – Broadcast and Control, which will work well for coordinated recording in larger groups and 2-person film crews, respectively. There’s also Mirror Control mode, which lets you view the interface from your main monitor on a remote monitor and access all its functions.
Additional Accessories for More Possibilities
Available for purchase separately, accessories will make your work easier and give you even more options. The Zenmuse X9 supports interchangeable mounts that allow you to mount a variety of lenses, giving you unparalleled freedom and flexibility. You can also purchase a variety of mounts that work well in many scenarios – such as suction cup mount (overhead or suspended), boom and cable cam. Remote monitors make coordinated recording easier and allow you to operate the Ronin 4D from a distance. Also available for purchase are DJI Master Wheels, DJI Force Pro and the new DJI Three-Channel Follow Focus.
